Job Title: Executive Director

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate individual to serve as the Executive Director of Solid Rock’s Child Welfare Agency. The Executive Director will play a pivotal role in leading the agency, overseeing program development, and ensuring the effective delivery of services to youth who are in and aging out of the foster care system while providing unwavering support and service to foster parents.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Collaborate and implement the strategic vision for the agency that aligns with the organization's mission and goals.
Provide visionary leadership to guide the agency in meeting the evolving needs of youth in and aging out of the foster care system and current and potential foster parents.
Establishes a means of accountability for those to whom he/she has assigned responsibility.
Effectively manages the human resources of the agency according to authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current laws and regulations.
Provides supervision and development for all staff.
Collaborate with the organization's leadership on agency goals and objectives.
Program Development and Implementation:
Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of programs and services to support the well-being of youth and the licensing and support for foster families.
Ensure that programs are responsive to the unique challenges faced by individuals in the foster care system and foster families.
Assist and collaborate with organizational events and initiatives.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the agency’s budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
Seek and secure funding through grants, partnerships, and fundraising efforts to support program initiatives.
Ensures that adequate funds are available to carry out the organization’s mission.
Personnel Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise a dedicated team of professionals to deliver high-quality services.
Foster a positive and inclusive agency culture that values diversity and promotes employee well-being.
Advocacy and Community Engagement:
Advocate for the rights and needs of youth in and aging out of the foster care system at local, state, and national levels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, government agencies, and stakeholders.
Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of the foster care system, child welfare policies, and best practices.
Strong financial management skills, including budget development and monitoring.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of organizational work.
Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate with a diverse team.
Must demonstrate credibility and positive self-concepts turning negatives into positives and maintaining an optimistic outlook when faced with organizational difficulties.

Must excel in interpersonal communications and interactions with staff, clients, the Board, and the community.

Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and 3 years of Administrative Experience.
Master's Degree in Human Services from an accredited institution and 5 years of Administrative Experience.

Job Title: Advocate
Supervisor: Executive Director
Summary: The Advocate is expected to identify and assess the needs of the participants by completing a thorough assessment and creating an individual service plan for the youth. The Advocate will coordinate, and ensure necessary services and/or treatment are provided based on the individual service plan. The Advocate will come alongside the participant to aide in the accomplishment of the goals set out in the individual service plan to ensure successful completion of the program and transition into self sufficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
Complete a thorough assessment of the participant to determine their needs.
Create an Individualized service plan based on the needs of the participant.
Coordinate and provide participants with the resources needed to complete the service plan.
Assist with and ensure the participants have completed the 10 steps based on the program plan to ensure graduation from the program.
Assist with the development of participant training and life skills workshops.
Maintain participant files.
Complete necessary paperwork and reporting for program success monitoring.
Assist with ensuring the participant abides by the housing guidelines to maintain housing.
Coordinate necessary transportation for participants to maintain employment or education.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, or 3-5 years related work experience, or licensed counselor.
Knowledge, skills, and mental development equivalent to the completion of two years of college and/or experience in social services or related fields.
Ability to communicate and work well with staff and community agencies and organizations.
At least 21 years of age.
Must have current and valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of car insurance.
Ability to adequately complete program records and reports and organize time and materials effectively.
Understanding and experience with G Suite computer programs
Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn programs needed to assist the participant in completing the program
Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn government programs to assist the participant in securing additional support.
